i have just paid a visit to daisy trail after a bit of an absence and just had to do quick page for a challenge they have "Cheers". The recipe is must have a glass,a wheel and a  butterfly and this is what i came up with.

Gorgeous Green CD Sunday

http://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/This week at CD Sunday it's all about gorgeous green, well the first thing that popped in my head was the countryside but as last weeks challenge was country based i had to think again. Well this is what i came up with and i hope you think it fits the theme for this week. I have used the Joanna Sheen CD Ivory cats and i just love it, the images are all so beautiful and so is the backing papers. This is a tent fold card and after printing off the the image and backing paper i have used promarkers to color the ribbon and i have added a couple of gems. I do hope you like it.

Hi today i have made a tag for the Tuesday colour challenge over at "The outlazs challenge blog". The three colours we have to use are deep plum, queenly lilac and moss green and the twist was that it had to be a tag and this is what i came up with.

Over at the outlawz challenge blog they have a copic/promarker challenge and i done this calendar page. They have been doing the calendar each month but this is my first one. Luckily you can still get all files for the previous months so i may do them all and bind them for next year.

Today i have made a quick card for a boy using promarkers to colour the digi image. I have made this for the copic/promarkers challenge over at The Outlawz challenges, great site if your looking to do a challenge a day all on one blog. I have tried to give it a beach feel with only using papers.

old Macdonald had a farm

Well my time is up as a Guest designer for CD Sunday, but what a blast I've had. It has been so enjoyable and i look forward to seeing just who will fill fit the bill as our new member of the design team. I love to do the challenges and usually get some ideas from the D/T's examples so it's a whole new ball game to come up with something for others to get a clue from. So thank you CD Sunday for giving me this experience.

My card this week is for the old MacDonald had a farm at CD Sunday. The CD i used is Woodland folk and friends, i have also used a Sarah Kaye stamp and coloured it with promarkers and cut round her so i could place her on the log.

Hello everyone i have had a bit of fun covering box's that would normally be thrown away. The top one is  washing powder or i should say the tablet kind box. This is just right for storing your ink pads, it's the right size to hold 12 to 14 with ease. My daughter has taken this one for all the little odds and ends she has. The second box is a shoe box in a very pretty pink, but as it has writing on most sides i cover this with a black and white paper and used promarkers for a little colour. As most of my craft item's are in box's these will fit in very nicely. I really wanted to add flowers and ribbons and things to the tops but then they would not be good for stacking, so i will have to make a few just for the bedroom to hold some costume jewelry.

Easy elegance

Just for you

The theme this week at CD Sunday is "Easy Elegance" so i have created the above card and i hope you think it fits the bill.

I have used a white 6x6 scalloped edge card and used cats eyes ink to colour the edges in pink. The toppers are taken from a Joanna Sheen CD called "in other words" a very good Cd to have in your stash..

The leafs have also been coloured with the pink ink pad and i have finished off with a simple tag and stamped it just for you.

 Easy yes, as for elegant i will that up to you to decide but i hope you like it and join us again this week.

Reflections

I enjoyed doing this card for CD Sunday as i love fairies and fantasy. This is 7x8 card, it's blueish/grey but looks quite grey in the photo. The CD i used is My craft studio "Walk in wonderland" a lovely cd. I used craft artist to duplicate the picture and flip it and reduce the intensity of colour giving a more reflection tone. The frame and flowers where cut on a silhouette and flowers colours with promarkers "blue pearl". The sentiment is a stamp on white card and mirror board, then just a couple of embellishments in the flowers and corner of frame.

Sweet temptation

This is a 6c6 card and has been made for the "creative freebie challenge" over at The Outlaws.

The girl digi stamp is the freebie for the challenge and the cake stamps are by papermania and i won them in a challenge at cd sunday challenge blog spot

rose boot

I have just joined the outlaw challenge site and it looks really good, that's if i can find my way around it. Lots of challenges and lots of brilliant ideas and inspiration. The rose boot stamp is  the digi in use at the moment so i have made a very simple and quick card using some lovely kanban card stock and toppers, now i have to find my way back and get it where it needs to be.

Trees

This week is exciting for me as i have been asked to be the Guest Designer over at CDsunday challenge blog. I have to say i was going to decline the offer at first feeling my cards where not good enough. Well here i am giving you three cards as my take on the trees and shrubs theme and looking forward to the next couple of weeks seeing what you and i come up with.

May is a busy month for birthdays so i have made a start with the CD Sunday Tree theme and made three.

My first card is an A4 tent fold. The CD used is from Polka doodles called "NOT for girls definitely for men". The only thing not on the CD is the mirror card, this a good CD for men, lots on for the young or mature " better not say old". This has been used quite a lot for men in my life. The images are very easy to cut out, not too many fiddly bits.

My second card is a 6x6 made from a Peerless Designs CD called "Woodland fantasy". This one i took into Craft artist to build up and layer and also add some dropped shadow. A great program to work with as you can drag and drop, so all my Cd's can be used in this way. I added glossy accents to the toad stools but it has not shown very well in the photo.

My last card is DL and very quick and easy one to make. This also was made in craft artist, i have layered three plain papers from the "not for girls " Cd and used a tree from a scrap kit. I have duplicated the tree three times and resized them then added the word art. It was then printed off and added to cream card.

Hi all, as i have a few men cards to do for May i thought i would have a go at entering your blog as i have found a lot of great card ideas here. The front background and insert where taken from a CD called "Tinkering with Steampunk" by my craft studio. sweet fo my sweet

The CD i have used today is "candy doodles from polkadoodles". Every thing for this card is on the CD, i have used decoupage on this one and left the cup case white. I hope you like it.
I would like to enter it into "cd sunday challenge blog sweet for my sweet".

I have made a 6x6in card today, i have used 3 digi images and grouped them and printed it off. I have then used promarkers to colour it. The B/G digi is Eiffel tower and also a word art digi and the top one is Cherry kisses shopping, also a digi from Polly Craft. I hope you like it. .ring a roses

Not your traditional wedding card i know, i was trying to create a modern twist on it. Also i have to appologise for the poor quality of of the pic!! I have used the "Beautiful Dreamer" CD from the Glitter Girls. The b/p is from Dovecraft and the roses are cut on a s/cameo and coloured with promarkers, not at all sure of the sentiment, looks to hard in black i may have to change it for a gray, i think that would suit much better. I hope you like it, to be entered into CD Sunday's challenge "ring a roses".

This card was quick and easy to do, the images are from a scrap kit grouped together , printed and cut out. the background paper is taken from the tulip and friends. I have not put any age just yet but it's ready to go. Hope you like it, i will also enter this into the CD Sunday challenge - toy box treasures.

I hav used 2 CD's for this card, the image is from Joanna Sheen's Baby love and the backing paper is from Sharon Duncan's Embossibilities Elegance as the paper blended so well with the image. I hope you like it and i will be entering it into CD Sunday challenge-Toybox treasures

I love this little image, it was from a decoupage sheet and i did not need to use all the layers. The backing paper is from the s.w.a.l.k CD rom from Crafter's companion. The card around the mouse is from kanban, a left over piece after cutting out the circle. i will enter this card into the CD Sunday challenge All sewn up. I hope you like it .

I have made a 6x6" card this week, made on orange card, i find i never really know what to do with coloured card apart for making kids cards but as it's for spring has sprung it's nice and bright. The CD i have used this week is Woodland folk and friends from Docraft, again this CD has a built in graphics programme and so easy to use, everything you need to build your own scene. I hope you like it. I am entering it into the CD sunday challenge

Spots and dots

i made this card in Docraft Digital designer thex graphics programme that comes with the CD, the CD is "Tulip and friends by Andrea Jayne from Docraft" a very pretty CD and you are able to print , cut, layer, emboss, embellish, resize and so much more. After i had picked my bg paper i add two borders and two of tulips friends to the fronts and the sentiments also from the CD, the inside i left white and added the the elements and sentiments and resized them and added a dropped shadow and printed them out on A4 papers. On the card i have added cutout borders and two ribbon tabs.

From me to you

I have made this card for the CD Sunday challenge" me to you". The card has been made from the Peerless designs Woodland Fantasy CD. The images are gorgeous on this CD. I have used the same image for the inside but have toned down the colour of the image and added the sentiment.

Red , brown and cream

Made on brown card, 6x6 tent fold. Used a cream sparkle backing paper, the stamp is a digi and i have used promarkers, i did the hair with ultra-fine nibs but think i should of just coloured it as i need to practise a lot more with the fine nibs anyway i hope you like it, made for rainbow lady's challenge blog , Red,brown and cream

This is a tent fold card 8x6, the green polkadot paper and the check with faux stitching are from the Candy doodles CD. The dragon is Dillon and i have put in a daffodil and i am sure that you know Diolch is thank you in welsh. So i would like to enter him in Rainbow lady's challenge anything Welsh. I would also like to enter him into two other challenges at DYSU challenge blog for things with wings and also for the Moving along with the times challenge as my card is based on their challenge sketch this week. I hope you like my little Welsh dragon he will turn red as he gets older lol.

Great day for a Birthday

this card front is made in CA, the image is from Cajoline-vintage animals, the remind me so much of the scraps i used to collect and swap at school. This is a 5x7 card and printed out on mat paper and keeping the vintage look. I have only added the think heart and a brush of cross stitch as i want it for a man card , I hope you like it.

I made this tent fold card for my niece Karen who's birthday is this weekend. The green and white back paper is a freebie from a craft mag, the check paper is from docraft, the scalloped edge and mount where cut out out of white card on my cameo and the stamp is a gorjuss girl from sugar nellie. Made a diamond card this week on white card and layered and mated, the paper is from the Embossibilities Elegance CD, added some ribbon and the card mount, tryed the promarkers but not the right colour so i went over it with colorbox cat's eyes , used thistle , it looks glossy in pic but now it's dryed out it is a nice chalky finish and i added a couple of ribbons. the stamp is a digi called Noon from Crafts and me and i just love this so pretty. I hope you like it. I am entering it in two challenges this week at wings and legs at CD Sunday challenge blog and at Ribbons and bows at Totally paper crafts

This is a 12x12 scrap page made in craft artist, background and images are from the net, they have been taken into cutout studio and photo shop. Decided to do a scrap page as i don't have a stamp that would be suitable, but i have just remembered a cd i have that i will be able to do a card with if i have time. Anyway i hope you like this effort to be entered into Mardi Gras challenge over at Rainbow lady's challenge blog.

Made on plain red card with cream flurishes to the front andcream word art inside. The image is a digi stamp called Hippie from Make it Crafty and has been coloured with promarker. added some red glitter to the hearts and all done. I hope you like it x
