Oriental Theme

It's been a while since i visited Digitally sweet challenges but popped over today and the challenge is Oriental Theme.
I have a couple of digital stamps that i was going use for this but then i dug out a Debbi Moore CD that i have never got round to using and decided  to use an image from that.
I have compiled it all in craft artist , apart from the main image the rest is made up of various kits.

Easy Rider

Digitally sweets challenge this week is to us digital metal on your Creation, well i hope they like what i have done this week. The main image i have used before but i love it and i have not used it in over 12 months so it's time for another airing. Most of the elements have come from a kit called Steampunk Farewell journey, a mini kit by crafty-poly, i think i have got that right, i have had it for a good while and i am not that good at keeping my kits in order.
I hope you like it .

going back to my youth

This is about Macy my giant schnauzer, she is 10 now and i have had from 8 week old. She is a gentle giant and has been a joy to know, definitely my dog, or that is until Jake arrives for a visit. Almost 6 years ago Macy had a phantom pregnancy and at the same time my daughter Michelle was expecting her first baby.
When my grandson Jake arrived Macy thought he was wonderful and was always near by, she even sleep outside his bedroom. After a time Michelle moved to her own home and i noticed that Macy was not herself at all. A few days later Michell called by with Jake and we had the return of the old Macy for the day.
After they left she took to her bed for long periods and was off her food so i asked Michelle to call with Jake and hey presto she was back to normal. This went on for several weeks but over time Macy got used to Jake just coming and going and returned to the the dog i know and love. But even now over three years on if Jake is in the house he has a big black shadow with him at all times and it's as well that he loves her too.
I like cats , big ones especially, sadly so many are now endangered.
In some parts of America this one has been taken off the endangered list and has been declared as extinct. It is not extinct world wide but it's numbers are low. I hope it never get to the stage that we only have pictures of them.
I am entering this into the digitally sweet challenge  just because i love this photo.

Sketch , Digitally Sweet Challenge

This is a an 8x8 scrap page created in craft artist for a challenge over at Digitally Sweet challenges. this week we have been given a sketch to follow and this in its self is a challenge for me, i usually just play about until i like what i see. The photo i have used is one of my Grandson Jake , it is a group shot taken in school by his teacher at Christmas 2011.  I'm so pleased he had this teacher as all the other classes just had the usual very ordinary photo's taken. Well i hope you can still make out the sketch from this page .

Digitally 'sweet' challenge no2 A rose

It's time for challenge no 2 over at Digitally 'sweet' challenges and the theme this week is  "Anything goes with flowers".  I have been trawling through my kits, but as you know most have flower in them, any way i came across this one BCS Marissa, i don't know how long i have it or where i got it. The photo was with it's files but not too sure if it is part of the kit or not, sorry just been back and yes it is , it's called a charm.
I love dark backgrounds and grungy ones so is what has attracted me to this kit.
i hope you like my page with it .

A page for Izzy

A page for Izzy my Granddaughter, this is 8x8 scrap page, i prefer to do this size for printing as only have a standard size printer and i can pick up cheaper frames for this size. The kit i used is from Gracie and Tracy Designs " and called The Mix, you can get this from e-scrapeandscrap.net . I have used Serif Craft artist to  make this page and will enter it into Digitally sweet challenges
I hope you like, you can enter as many times as you want as long as you do not have a sponsor.

When i grow up

Just made a quick page of Jake with his beloved tractors and trucks, so far this is his ambition to drive all these monster machines.
This is an 8x8 scrap page made in Craft Artist and using cutout studio, i will enter this into the new  Digitally  'sweet' Challenges
