clean and simple

The card i have made today is for the challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week it's clean and simple.

I have used a cream base card in a tent fold and used some craft card for the mat ,. the image was cut out on the cameo and coloured within the program and the sentiment is computer generated . A very quick and easy card to make , i was looking for a  tut for something on the cameo and came across this,  so i really can't take any credit for it's design only the fact that i work it and put it together.

Steampunk challenge 33

Over at cardz4guyz this week is Steampunk,

I have made this card in sepia tones on an 8x8 white card, now i do like steampunk a lot but it is not the easiest of things to do in making cards, luckily i have a couple of CD's and and a few craft artist kits. I love all the metal cogs and hinges that you would normally do with steampunk but it not a good idea if sending cards through the post. i did cut out several embellishments and the main image as i was going to use sticky dots to have raised but then changed my mind and just stuck them down.  So this is what i have come up with and i do hope you like it.

Wheel fun

The challenge at Cardz 4 guyz this week is Wheel fun.

I have had a busy week and didn't think i would have time to enter this week , but as i was looking through my magazine i noticed this image of the car as a free download and i thought it was just right for Ray who is going to be 60 next month and also right for the challenge, so here it is.

The image has been printed off and coloured with Graphit-markers, i have used a 8x8 white card with kraft card and a old page from a road atlas, some bakers twine and a button and card candy.

For my card i have decided on steam punk as i think this is just right for guy cards. I have several males to make birthdays cards for this month both young and old so i will be able to get some inspiration from you guy's.

Numbers

Good morning crafters, 

Over at cardz 4 guyz their challenge this week is ...Numbers.

Well i had just made a card for my Grandson Logan who will be 3 this year so i thought it to be just right to enter this.

I have used the new polka doodles Work & play collection and this is the go karter from collection 2.

I have used an 8x8 white base card and compiled all the elements in craft artist and printed out, i am really liking these 2 new CD from Polka doodles and think i will be using them quite a lot

Make us laugh

this weeks theme at Cardz 4 guyz  is ....Make us laugh, and the design team have come up with great inspiration cards. I have gone with this as i have a birthday to make a card for this week, not that i'm saying men are a little vain when they turn a certain age you understand !!!!!!

Nature

 I see the Cardz4guyz challenge this week is Nature so i will enter this card.  

I felt like having a play with the Debbie Moore shabby chic garden bookazine, i have never used one before and found it so easy to make a quick card as everything is right there at your finger tips. I cut out all the pieces i needed and then had fun arranging them, once happy with my choice i attached them to the backing paper.  It really is ideal for a card in a hurry so i will keep it to one side for when i need something quick. I have kept everything flat for ease of postage but could of easily layered it more or decoupaged, for a very quick card it turned out really well.

cardz 4 guyz Chinese New Year

A new blog for guys cards, just what i need as i don't know about you but i always struggle with male cards young or old.

This i make a few weeks back intending to use it for another challenge but used a different card in the end , so it has not been aired at all. I used craft artist to compile it before printing it off flat for ease of postage. The image is a photo from the net and has been taken into photo lab and a paint and ink effect applied, the sentiment is computer generated.
