For someone special

For someone special and this is Beryl's choice for the challenge at CD Sunday this week.
Once again i have been caught napping, thought i had done a card and no i was only dreaming. However i had been making a this box card for my friends daughter who will having her 40th birthday next month. The box card is extremely easy to make but i found the difficult part was deciding how to decorate it and place the parts. Now that i have made one i am more confident to do another.
The CD i have used is Linda Ravenscroft  Enchanted, but i have only used one small piece and that is the butterfly, the paper that have been used on the flaps are from a cd but i can't remember which one as it's out of a box of papers that i have printed out some time ago and did make a note on it.

I do hope you all have someone special that you want to make a card for this week and join in with us, we love to visit you .

Sue this is gorgeous. I wouldn't know where to start with one of these cards (I'm guessing there's a tut or template somewhere???)
You have decorated it beautifully.

This is lovely and looks so much more difficult than they really are so it will have pride of place I bet. I've made one of these and now want to do a larger version.

This is a gorgeous creation Sue and I wouldn't know where to start making this. Your colours are lovely and I am sure it will be treasured by your friends daughter. Will have to 'google' a tutorial.

I love these box cards and have planned to do a tutorial with my crafters in the not too distant future. I love the colour combo you've chosen.....very pretty and great that they lie flat for posting.
