Tea Time at CD Sunday

It's here again, yes it's Sunday and i must be getting old as the week just flies by and every where you look they are telling us how many more days til Christmas.
But never mind all that because it's time for CD Sunday .
Last week we had so many beautiful cards and Carol will be picking her top three so good luck to all.
We still have our very talented Kevin with us and he made a beauty of a card for you this week, so be sure to check out his blog.
For my card this week i have used two Cd's and a image from the net, i used My craft studio's  Walk in wonderland and Artylicious Floral cd. I have enlarged a couple of the flowers , added a glaze and curled the petals. I hope you will all be joining in again this week and if you have time please  visit our blogs and leave a comment  and we shall be calling on you too.

Buttons and bows The happy scrappers

I almost forgot about the challenge over at The happy Scrappers challenge blog, it's a monthly challenge so i will just make it in time.
I have used a photo of my granddaughter Chloe for this page, the photo was taken about two years ago,..............  they grow so fast. the theme this month is buttons and bows . So anyone looking for a scrap challenge why not do a page and pop it into challenge, it's only challenge 5 so quite a new one, don't know how i missed it on my reading list,
here is my entry and a link

Make and Recycle

Do you have any old washing tablet boxes , if you do why not recycle and make use of it. It takes less than two 12x12 sheets of paper, in fact the next one i do will be in old news paper or magazine to keep my word stamps.
This box is just the right size to hold 14 stamp pads, i have not added anything to the top, that way they are stackable too. Time to make , maybe one hour. I have made these for my daughter who keeps all the small odds and ends in, it would also make a nice little sewing box, may do that next............
I have made this card for the challenge over at Charisma cards. This is challenge 38 and it's something for the guys.  I have made a boys card today using The Guys 'n' Gals cd from Crafter's companion , it reminds me of the where is spot books my kids used to read. All the elements are very easy to cutout on this cd and has lots to appeal to children.

Sketch , Digitally Sweet Challenge

This is a an 8x8 scrap page created in craft artist for a challenge over at Digitally Sweet challenges. this week we have been given a sketch to follow and this in its self is a challenge for me, i usually just play about until i like what i see. The photo i have used is one of my Grandson Jake , it is a group shot taken in school by his teacher at Christmas 2011.  I'm so pleased he had this teacher as all the other classes just had the usual very ordinary photo's taken. Well i hope you can still make out the sketch from this page .

Cd Sunday Challenge, Awash with flowers

Good morning crafters, Sunday brings us a new challenge from CD Sunday.
This week we have our lovely Carol's choice....Awash with flowers.
Our guest Kevin from McCrafty's cards has done a fabulous card for you this week and all the design team have come up with a great selection to inspire you once again.
your entries last week where inspiring to me, loved them.
For my card i have used a 6x6 scalloped edge in a tent fold, the silhouette image is from Joanna Sheen's Dancing with shadows. I have also used a couple of craft artist cd's from the Butterfly range, 5 cd'd in total, i have picked the backing paper from them and also the flowers and butterflies.
Had a lot of fun doing this card as apart from printing out the elements i wanted, there was a lot of cutting out, painting with cosmic shimmer water colour paint. Adding liquid pearls (copper) and stickles and also using colour box cats eyes Fancy blue for the edges.

I hope you like what the team and guest have brought to you this week and you will come along and join us. Remember you only need to use a small item from a cd and tell what cd you have used for your creation, it doesn't have to a card, it could be a scrap page , or an item you have you decorated using something from a cd. Whatever you make i look forward to seeing what you come up with this week.

Teenage card

I have just been to look around the paper shelter and found this lovely digi stamp set, two images, one colour, a backing paper and a backing paper with the coloured image already on it.  I have used the backing paper and the coloured image from the set and added a further two papers also some word art and embellishments.  I have CAP to compile it and then printed it out flat for ease of postage . This will be going to one of my nieces for her birthday.

The MIx from D&G designs

A page for my Granddaughter Izzy who was born in may this year.  I have used the new kit from Gracie and Tracy called The mix.https://www.e-scapeandscrap.net/boutique/https://www.e-scapeandscrap.net/boutique/, and its a brilliant mix . I am just loving the kits these girl make, two talented ladies who became friends on daisy trail and the rest is history as they say

After a day of clearing out the garden and removing the old shed, and having to rescue my plants from Ray who doesn't know a plant from a weed, i really felt in the need to to scrap a page and calm myself.
I have used a lovely kit called Dream catcher from Gracieandtracydesiigns.blogspot.co.uk. Take a look on their blog for some fabulous inspiration and beautiful pages. You can purchase the kit at e-scrapeandscrap .
