Oriental Theme

It's been a while since i visited Digitally sweet challenges but popped over today and the challenge is Oriental Theme.
I have a couple of digital stamps that i was going use for this but then i dug out a Debbi Moore CD that i have never got round to using and decided  to use an image from that.
I have compiled it all in craft artist , apart from the main image the rest is made up of various kits.

Make your own background

I have been trying to improve my colouring with promarkers and although still not at the top of my game i can see some slight improvement . I have made this card for the challenge at I love promarkers and it's to make your own background.
I have use a  white card and using a mask and pan pastels i have made the background , the stamp is called school girl and she is from tiddly inks.

Steampunk challenge 33

Over at cardz4guyz this week is Steampunk,
I have made this card in sepia tones on an 8x8 white card, now i do like steampunk a lot but it is not the easiest of things to do in making cards, luckily i have a couple of CD's and and a few craft artist kits. I love all the metal cogs and hinges that you would normally do with steampunk but it not a good idea if sending cards through the post. i did cut out several embellishments and the main image as i was going to use sticky dots to have raised but then changed my mind and just stuck them down.  So this is what i have come up with and i do hope you like it.

Fancy folds

This week at OOh la la it's all about fancy folds.
The card i have made for this is a 5x5 white card base and i have used the ooh la la CD called Say it with words.
I have used the sister image and two paper from this group, mated the image onto a light fawn card , the gate folds interlock and keeps it perfectly flat . Once opened you you can stand it with the gates coming forward or to the back. This is a nice and easy card to make and has given me some ideas for Christmas cards.

Get well with Sue at CD Sunday

Hi and good morning peeps.
Our last challenge was Quilted fun chosen by Jocelyn and she will be picking out her Top three and letting us know just who that will be real soon.
This time it is my choice and i have gone with Get Well, in fact i have had a few to make over the past few weeks and i do like to have a couple in stand by .
The card i have for you this time is a square 6x6 white card, the CD i have used from Polka doodles Work & play collection 1. I have used the papers from the nurse set and a digi stamp called sick chick from, From the heart stamps. I love this little chick and you also get the sentiments with the image. I have printed out a couple of images and decoupaged it using small sticky dots.
I have used promarkers for the colouring, in fact one of the reason for going with the stamp was to get some practice in with my colouring as i have not done very much of late and it shows,.
Do go and visit all the inspiration that the DT's have put together, fabulous creations.
I hope you will be joining in with us and please let us know what CD you have used.
see you soon x

Quilted fun with Jocelyn at CD Sunday

Good CD Sunday Morning peeps.
Thank you for the fabulous cards you created for our Food glorious food Challenge with Wynn.
Wynn will  be checking them all out and will give us her top Three soon.

This week at CD Sunday are having Quilted fun with Jocelyn, and once again she and the rest of the design team have come up with beautiful inspiration for you .
For my DT card i have use a 6x6 white card and compiled everything in craft artist.
The CD i used this week is a Crafters inspiration Cd that came free with their magazine, i have used the Bebunnie from this.

Using craft artist is great for adding drop shadows and emboss, giving the card some dimension and the illusion of layers, and as i have said before ideal for keeping the postage down .
I do hope you be able to join us and show us what you can do, don't forget to mention what CD you have used.
