Year of the Horse at CD Sunday

What a miserable start to the day, weather wise that is. Thank you for your fabulous creations last week for the Here Kitty Kitty challenge on CD Sunday, i have not picked my top three as yet as i am still looking through them and it's so hard to decide with such talented crafters.

This week it is team B who bring you another great Challenge at CD Sunday and this week it is Jocelyn's choice The Year of the Horse .

I have always loved horses and for years wanted my own, now i live in the beautiful countryside of North Wales and have friends who have horses and i understand why my parents said no, but i did have ridding lessons at our local stables and that was a great deal to me.

S0 this week i have done a 8x8 card , the back paper is from The Paddington Collection vol 1 from craft artist and the image is from the net. The card was created in CAP and printed off.

Here Kitty Kitty

Good morning everyone, hope i find you all well.  What a fabulous entry we have had for our last challenge on CD Sunday and i hope you will all be able to join us again with this weeks challenge that is called Here Kitty Kitty .

For my card i have used a white 8x8 card and the main image is from a Crafters  Companion CD called Tales of Beatrix Potter. , this CD was Actually free with  a craft magazine some time ago, very good for children's cards but equally good for all Beatrix fans .

 So the image and backing paper are both from the cD , i have also used a couple of dies ,one in white and one in mirri, also a die cut butterfly, the sentiment is a lily of the Vally stamp embossed with copper embossing powder.

So i do hope you like the teams inspiration cards and you can join in with again this week.  

Fan-Tastic Tuesday Pink and patterned

Created in Craft artist for the Fan-Tastic Tuesday Challenge . This week it is Pink and patterned,  the three layers of paper come fron the C rafters companion Frou Frou cd . The bird cage and birds are from a Serif CD Brushes and stamps. the sentiment is computer generated .

Tantalizing Turquoise

I have been having a play in Craft Artist, something that i have not done for a while.

I have used a Debbi Moore CD called Oriental and have come up with this card.

This is from the screen card rage and i have adjusted the colour for the challenge at CD Sunday this week that is Tantalizing Turquoise.

Pretty in pink

Welcome one and all to the new year and a new way for the DT'S to be be doing things this year. The design team are splitting into two groups of 5, so one week we will be doing our cards hopefully to give you a little inspiration but on our week off we can enter in with you. We are also hoping to have new look to the blog with new graphics so if it's up and running when my scheduled post goes on that's a bonus.

The good news is that we have a new design team member and that is Wynn Walton and i'm sure manyof you are already familiar with her talents .

This 1st challenge theme for 2014 comes to from our Christine and it's Pretty in Pink . This is wide open to interpretation , the world is your oyster as long as you have Pink and use something (no matter what) from a CD.

For my card i have a crafter's companion CD Frou Frou , theonly thing not from the CD is the sentiment , i have compiled everything in craft artist and printed it , perfect for posting. This card is going to my teenage niece who i believe is going to be 16 this month.

I hope you are all over Christmas and new year and are now ready to craft.
