We are Sailing

I hope you all had a special and merry Christmas and that the awful weather did not cause you and your loved ones any distress. I really  think this year has just flow by, they say its a sign of old age when you say that so i must really be getting old . So today is the last challenge of the year with CD Sunday and i hope you will have the time to join in with us this week,  it's team mate Sue T who has chosen the theme and it's We are Sailing, quite apt really as we sail into the 2014 .
For my card i have kept it simple , the backing paper is from Paddington collection Volume 1 and the toppers are from Kanban that i had in my stash, i have torn the paper to hopefully give a feel of waves and really i did not need to do any more so as i say this is quick and easy card to end the year.
That just leaves me to wish you all a very happy New Year

The Three D's

Lovely cards for our challenge last week, so thank you to all who took part.
This week is Carol's choice and that is The Three D's,  DL, die cuts and Decoupage, once again you have two weeks to enter our challenge. I know it's nearly Christmas and that is why we are doing our challenges over two weeks .
My DT card was made using a CD i got from ebay at a bargain price of £2:99 and is full of decoupage pages so very handy.
I will be using this card i think for my Grandson in January once i have made the insert  and i have also taken a photo of the cd so if you do come across it on ebay it is well worth getting.
Well that just leaves me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas , so have fun everyone. xx

Home sweet home

Good morning crafters, i hope you have all had  a good week.
Last weeks entries where fabulous and Caz will have her work cut picking a winner from them.
This week it is Beryl's turn to choose and she has picked Home sweet home.
For my card i have gone with another Christmas card as i still playing catch up and trying to get as many done as i can over the next couple of weeks.
I have used Crafter's  companion Vintage Christmas and various elements from my scrapbook kits, the card is a white 8x8 and has been compiled in craft artist and printed off. The sentiment is digitally generated and the whole card has been finished off using stickles icicle . I love stickles and with all the Christmas cards i am  running out fast of my favorite colours and will have to restock.
I look forward to seeing what you come with week and the team have given you plenty of inspiration to hopefully get you thinking.

Countdown to Christmas
