On the Beach

Not a good week for me, got a letter telling me i had to pay £70 to Parking eye for being in a Aldi car park for more than the allotted time, fuming now, then i went to get my new glasses and i couldn't see through them at all, so another wait and another trip to collect them and to top it off while doing some gardening i got stung by a bee, a small wild bee who has left my wrist swollen ,red and very sore, i think i have a hive in the pampas grass. So i hope things will now settle down,.

OK on to this weeks Challenge at CD Sunday and it's On The Beach and has been chosen for you by Caz. We still have Linby with us who has brought you some amazing cards this month, so do pop over and visit her blog at Crafty Linby.
For my card i have used Sharon Duncan's Embossibilities Elegance for the back paper and the image is one i found on the net, the sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a sizzix die, i have used a spellbinder die for the corners and added flat back pearls, so hopefully they look like shells, i hope you like it and can join in with us this week.

Add a Number

Fabulous cards for our challenge last week, now all i have to do is pick a winner, not that easy so many beautiful cards , but please look in next Wednesday for my top three.
Now then this week we have Add a number, now this has been the choice of Jocelyn and i think it will prove to be very popular indeed.
We still the lovely Linby with us and has once again made a beautiful card for your inspiration.
for my card i have gone for a Christmas card as i would like to get some made , i have used a Polka doodles CD called Jingle Jangle Christmas , for the main image i have used a kanban topper from my stash, it's a lovely topper with red foiling, this is mounted onto a red parchment with gold font, not very obvious from the photo. The tag was made with a stamp using red ink and embossed and cut out with a die. The frame was cut with a spellbinders die using a polka doodles paper.
I hope you can join us this week, and please remember to give a credit to whatever CD you use.

Quick and cute

We had lovely entries last week for Linby's Transportation theme and if you look in on CD Sunday around mid week you will see who has won and they will receive that fabulous CD from Debbie Moore.
This week it is my turn to choose a theme and it's Quick & cute, so a nice and easy one this week, i think we all have cute stuff in our stash.
For my card i have used Polka doodles for the BP on a 6x6 white card, the image is from Do Crafts Tulip and friends. The image has been printed out three times so it is decoupaged and placed on a white circle edged with cats eye ink pad, the sentiment is computer generated and i have used a die to cut it out, this is also edged with cats eyes ink pad to match. Once mounted to the card they have been placed on scalloped edged mat. I have used faux pearls and a small white ribbon to finish off and in keeping with trying to use things from my stash i have added silver peel off's as a border.
I hope you all like this weeks theme and join use for the Challenge at CD Sunday challenge blog.
Please remember to use something from a cd , as this a CD challenge.

Transportation

A new month and a new Guest Designer, this month we have the pleasure of having Linby with us, you can just click on her name to go her blog. Not only Linby our guest designer for the month , she is also our sponsor and will be giving the winner of this weeks challenge a CD , the CD is  Debbie Moore's shabby chic Mechanical. What a fabulous prize for someone, so i hope we have lots of entries for Linby to pick her winner from.
This week the challenge is Transportation and i have used a my Craft studio CD called Tinkering with steampunk, it had to a be a very quick and easy card this week as i only just realised i had not made a DT card for this challenge, I am still playing catch up after my holiday.
The bp is from the CD, the main image has been compiled in craft artist and printed off as one page
and mounted on tan card, the sentiment (Time is a great storyteller) is also on the CD, .
I know it's the summer holidays and a lot of you may not have a lot of time to craft if you have children or Grandchildren as i do, but i hope you will still be able to join us this week for our Challenge and a chance of that fabulous prize from Linby.
As always please remember to use something from a CD and give a credit in your write up.
