Aged to perfection

Good morning all, and I do hope it's going to be a good day.
This our guest designers last week with us and I would like to thank Gloria (misty's mum) for the brilliant job and cards she has created for us this month, Thank you Gloria and I'm sure we will be asking you back at a later date.
This week it is choice and the challenge is " Aged to Perfection ". Now I have gone down the obvious road but there is a lot of scope for this challenge as you can see from the design teams creations, it could be wine , a majestic tree etc. I do look forward to seeing just what you can include for the theme.
For my card, and this has been made for my friend who has just hit 60, I have made an easel card and the CD's I have used are My Craft Studio's Magical Metallics and M.C.S  A very important date. So the backing paper is from two CD's but the image is one i found on the net and thought it suited my friend who has a good sense of  humour. I have added some green pearls a small bow and the tea cups are also from " A very important Date " and we have shared many a cup of that together.

Go Green

We had lovely cards entered for last weeks challenge and it will take some thinking about the top three as they are very beautiful indeed.
This weeks Challenge is Go Green,
this is Jenny's choice for the theme this week.
Now this could mean recycle or green in colour and it's going to interesting to what you can come with this week.
For my card I have taken the easy option of making a card in colour green, now our guest and team have all been busy and have beautiful cards to get you thinking.

I have used Moorheads , Animals CD for my card and as you can see there is plenty of green going on in there. I really like these Cd's,  the images are lovely and so easy to put together and do make beautiful cards.
I look forwards to visiting you all again this week to see what you have been up to.

Ornate blossom

This weeks challenge at Cd Sunday is Ornate Blossom and has been chosen by Christine.
For my card i have used a My craft studio CD called Floriography Cd 2. I do tend to use this CD a lot for the lovely papers that are so easy to mix and match with so many things.
I have used a backing paper and matching topper from the CD and the topper has been mounted on a lilac card, added a whit ribbon and four glass flowers to the corners, the verse is one from William Shakespeare that i like very much. The flowers are not to deep so should be able to go into the post as normal.
Our guest this month Gloria ( misty's mum) has again done a beautiful card, so do be sure to pop over and see what else she has been up too.

Weddings

As its the start of new month we have to goodbye to Margaret as our guest for April. Thank you Margaret you have done us proud with all your beautiful creations the last month and hope that you will be able to join us again soon.
This week at CD Sunday it's all about Weddings and the the challenge has been chosen by Sue T. Now Sue picked this theme as this months guest designer Gloria (misty's mum) has recently got Married herself and all the team wish her all the happiness in the world.
We would like to welcome Gloria as our guest designer for this month and please do pop over and give here a visit
For my card i have a CD Called (working Ele). I purchased this Cd quite a few years ago when i started making cards, i got it from ebay  and think it cost about 99p, i remember thinking if no good i have not lost a fortune , but it's full of great images and papers so i did get a bargain.
Once again our Guest Gloria and the team have come up amazing cards for your inspiration and i look forward to seeing yours.
I would also like to enter this into the paper shelter challengehttp://thepapershelter.blogspot.co.uk/
