Paper heart

There is so much cardboard that i send to be recycled that i have now been trying to make use of. This was the front of a cereal packet that i cut into a heart shape. I have covered with paper and did a bit of stamping and then sprites some shimmer magic  over using three different colours. I have made some paper flowers and also used some pre made ones added a small wooden heart and a few gems ( not that have shown on pic ) job done. I will be give it to my daughter as she a collection of hearts. if anyone has any good ideas for using old packets be sure to let me know. I have also been using up the pringles tubs, they make good holders for so  many things, i have a set of chess pieces in one, paint brushes in another and small knitting needles in one.
thanks for stopping by

CD Sunday sketch

Good morning everyone.
Today at CD Sunday they have something a bit different for us, a sketch and i loved doing this along with a cd and i hope you all enjoy doing one as well. I have made my card on pearly grey card and it's a bit of an odd size 7x8. The cd i used this week is one of Debbi Moore designs, "Shabby chic-Haberdashery", the papers and topper is from the cd in fact the only things that are not are the buttons and black bow.

My second card is the start of my Christmas collection just so i have some in hand as i usually leave everything to the last minute. This card is 6x6 and has been created in craft artist, and i love to use this program. Mostly this is from a kit called "Sweet Xmas" and i liked it as it's fresh and young looking and i don't want to be doing snow just yet as I'm still waiting for summer.

I hope you like this weeks great challenge and i look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Sadly this will be my last post as a guest designer and i would like to thank everyone at CD Sunday, the DT's and everyone who takes the time to join in with the challenges.  I have enjoyed doing every challenge and loved taking a look at what everyone has created.

Delicious damask

hi everyone
today at CD Sunday the theme is Delicious Damask so with that in mind i have made a card and also a pen/brush holder. The cd i used for this is "Glenda Waterworth's ARTYLICIOUS, Damask Delights" . I have used the damask delights for the background paper and the rest is made from a craft artist cd called Butterfly, there are 5 in the set and the one i used is GARDEN. For the pen/brush holder i have used the same paper but with a different colour way  and cut out a butterfly and paper flowers and added them. I have also used ribbon and string and some candi. I hope you like what i have created for you this week.
See you next time x

Beautiful Ballerinas

Good morning all,
i can say this as it is good today, the sun is out and the sky is blue and after this week of bad weather today looks lovely.
I have made a side stepper card this week and the CD i used was crfaters companion "Adorables" from Jayne Nestorenko. Although this is mainly a Christmas themed CD i have used the paper from it as it is such a good match for the image. The image is from the net and i just loved it. The sentiment was part of a pre done sheet of mixed sentiments and again the colour was right, the flowers are part of my stash, they are parchment with silver foil edging, so all in all i am pleased with the end result and i hope you like it too.

out with the boys

As the weather has not been good this weekend i have been able to do more crafting and revisit some blogs sites that i have missed of late. I have not done as much in scrapbook's as i would like and i now have two more Grandchildren so there is plenty to keep me going for a long time. This page is for my daughter who lost dog Blue and is heartbroken over him, but just after that she gave birth to another baby boy who has brought the sunshine back.

clean and simple

I have just my first page for CAS or clean and simple challenge group on the Outlawz challenge blog.  A great site if you want to do a challenge a day or just play along when you can.  As you can see this a simple card only using a couple of stamps, i have stamped the flowers and coloured the with promarkers then cut them out and just curled the edges.

Cheers

Hi folks
i have just paid a visit to daisy trail after a bit of an absence and just had to do quick page for a challenge they have "Cheers". The recipe is must have a glass,a wheel and a  butterfly and this is what i came up with.
hope you like it .

Gorgeous Green CD Sunday

http://cdsundaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/This week at CD Sunday it's all about gorgeous green, well the first thing that popped in my head was the countryside but as last weeks challenge was country based i had to think again. Well this is what i came up with and i hope you think it fits the theme for this week. I have used the Joanna Sheen CD Ivory cats and i just love it, the images are all so beautiful and so is the backing papers. This is a tent fold card and after printing off the the image and backing paper i have used promarkers to color the ribbon and i have added a couple of gems. I do hope you like it.
