Morning all, it is my turn to set a theme for our CD Sunday challenge and i have chosen add some Bling or Glitter.
My card is a very simple one and quick and easy to do, I have use a CD from Debbi Moore called Glitter & Glitz , Magic Moments.
The background and topper have been printed directly onto the card, ( this is the first time i have tried doing a card this way) more of a test really to see how it looks. I can see the advantage of doing cards this way, for quickness and simplicity of posting but i prefer to craft it with cutting and gluing in the traditional way . The glitter i used is an Ice Stickles, Crystal ice and have applied it her dress and hat and i have also used silver peel offs , yes i know a lot of you don't like peel offs although most of us have them in our stash, i do like them although i don't use the much they do have a place in crafting and i did promise myself to use up things from my stash and try to reduce the amount of things i have, because no matter how many times you say your not going to buy more stash there is always something we crafters really need.
So as i say very quick and simple from printer to card , added glitter , a foiled sentiment and a pair of shoes with little red stones.
Please do take a look at what my team mates have produced for your inspiration this time, and i look forward to seeing what you come with and visiting your blogs.

I didn't realise you had printed it as a flat card. It looks great.

Lovely card Sue. It doesn't look like a flat card at all. Very pretty with soft muted tones. I like peel offs. I don't use them as often now as I used to but sometime they are just the thing and I still have plenty.

These gorgeous art deco ladies lend themselves to being glittered and blinged and this one looks wonderful Sue.

I love the feathers and bling. Like you, I have far too much stash (including peel offs) and it is nice to use some up every so often. At least they are something I have stopped buying now lol! Great card and Lovely colour tones.
