Mother, mum, mummy

CD Sunday challenge , Mother, mum, mummy

Some lovely cards last  week for Wendy's simply red, I even got to enter one myself. Lovely choice Wendy, thank you i did enjoy it.
This week it is my turn to pick the theme for the CD Sunday challenge and I have chosen mother, mum, mummy. I picked this with mothers day in mind but it could be anything else that you can think of,  new mother and baby, thanks mum or even mother cat or dog, what about mother goose or old mother hubbard .
For my card I have used crafters companion's Angelica and Adam collection CD. I have used one of the shaped cards, taken it into craft artists and have made a few changes, then it was just print and cut, these type of shaped cards are great if you're lucky enough to have a printer that will take a good weight card, sadly mine won't do this , so i print on a medium weight card and then apply to another one.
I hope you will be able to join in with us week and I look forward to seeing what you come up with and i be visiting  you.

I hadn't realised this was a shaped card Sue til I read your blog....I see it now. I agree about printers not taking heavier card. Mine's the same. It was an expensive printer too. Love this image....so sweet. Reminds me of my Grandson. Have a great Sunday. Hugs Wynn xx

I hadn't realised it was a shaped card either, this little chap could be either of your boys when they were younger.
I'm lucky I have a printer that has taken anything I throw at it and it is the best one I have ever had, it's a Canon and no way would I go back to Epson.

Think I might try a Canon next time my Epson plays up as it would be useful to print onto a heavier weight card. This is a lovely card Sue and I like the sentiment.

I diidn't realise it was a shaped card either. Did you haave to cut round that delicate flower? If so, you've done a fab job on it. Such a sweet image and lovely warm colours.
