Hello and welcome to my blog, this is my sanctury from real life, a little bit of space for doing what i love, and that's crafting. scrapbook, cards, box's and anything inky. I do follow a lot of blogs as i like the challenges that i find and also the inspiration i get from them, so many talented people with great ideas. So please feel free to leave a comment so i know you have popped by and i can call on you. Sue

Victorian Beauties

Good morning crafters, not a very bright start to  the day, but as they say things can only get better, or is that just wishful thinking on my part.
This week Challenge at CD Sunday is Victorian Beauties and has been chosen by team mate Wynn, so i hope you can all join us again this week.
For my card i have used a CD i got on ebay called Victorian Ladies.
I have made an A5 card using  white card base, for the matting i used a tan card, printed off the backing paper and the image onto thin card, the image is decoupaged, but done the old way without using lifters, there are four layers, just enough to give some dimension and not affect postage.  (not very noticeable in the picture)  and assembled them together. The sentiment is computer generated and matted onto the same tan card, added liquid pearls (copper pearl) to the border of the image and added a flower that was cut on my cameo, used Pan pastels on the tips of the flower using red iron oxide tint.
Well that's about it for my card and i hope that after looking at the lovely inspiration cards made by the design team you are already thinking about what you will be using for our challenge this week, and please remember to tell us what CD you have used in your creation.
